What data does this extension collect?

This extension collects the following data only from real estate listing pages on yad2.co.il:

• Listing details visible on the page: address, price, rooms, floor, square meters
• Your email address (only if you choose to subscribe to alerts)
• Feedback you choose to submit through the extension: your message text, the feedback type (idea / bug / general), and — only if you provide it — your email address
• Anonymous diagnostic and usage data — extension version, page type, number of listings detected, whether data loaded successfully, how long a scan took, and which extension features were used (for example, opening the extension popup or saving a tracked search). This data is keyed by a random installation identifier generated inside your browser; it is not linked to your Google account, your email, or any personal information, contains no listing identifiers and no browsing history, and is deleted when you uninstall the extension. We use it only to detect when the extension breaks and to understand which features are used.

Google account data

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. This data is used solely to:

• Identify your account and associate your saved searches with you
• Pre-fill your email address when subscribing to alerts
• Display your name and avatar in the extension popup

We do not access any other Google account data (contacts, calendar, Drive, etc.).

Pricey's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Local storage

The extension caches listing data locally on your device (via chrome.storage.local) to provide faster badge loading. This data never leaves your device and is automatically cleared when you uninstall the extension.

How is the data used?

• Listing data is stored in a secure database to track price changes over time and show you badges on the page
• Your email is used solely to send you price change and new listing alerts for searches you subscribed to
• Feedback you submit is used solely to improve the extension and, if you left an email, to reply to you
• Anonymous diagnostic and usage data is used solely to detect breakage and understand which features are used

Feedback you submit

English: If you use the feedback form inside the extension, we collect the message you write, the feedback type (idea / bug / general), and — only if you choose to provide it — your email address. We also record the extension version and the yad2.co.il page path you were on (without search parameters) to help us reproduce issues. This information is used solely to improve Pricey and, if you left an email, to reply to you. It is stored on Supabase and is never sold or shared with third parties. Submitting feedback is entirely optional.

What data is NOT collected?

• No browsing history outside of real estate listing pages
• No personal information beyond what is listed above
• No financial data
• No cookies or tracking pixels
• No data is sold or shared with third parties
• No advertising, no third-party analytics (we never share data with analytics providers), and no crash reporting. The only diagnostic and usage data collected is the anonymous, non-identifying data described above, stored on our own servers

Data storage and retention

Data is stored on Supabase (cloud database hosted on AWS) with encryption at rest and in transit. Only listing data from public real estate pages is stored.

Listing data is retained indefinitely to provide price history tracking. If you unsubscribe from alerts, your email and subscription preferences are deleted. You can request deletion of all your data at any time (see below).

Third-party services

• Supabase — database and serverless functions for storing listing data
• Resend — email delivery service, used only to send alert emails to subscribers
• Google Identity Services — used for optional sign-in via your Google account

No data is shared with any other third parties. These services process data solely on our behalf.

Children's privacy

This extension is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

• You can delete all your data (saved searches, alert subscriptions, and account info) directly from the extension popup by clicking "מחק מידע" (Delete data), or by emailing listingscout.il@gmail.com
• Uninstalling the extension stops all data collection immediately and clears locally cached data
• You can unsubscribe from email alerts by contacting us
• You can sign out at any time from the extension popup to disconnect your Google account
